November 16, London, Queen Elizabeth’s health has been in question again after scheduled appearances were cancelled this week after a recent hospital stay.
According to a Palace source in touch with Reuters, The Queen’s recent back sprain is an “unfortunate coincidence” that is unrelated to the unspecified ailment in which required a hospital stay.
The concern comes after the Queen did not attend the November 11 Remembrance Sunday service at the Cenotaph in London. This will be the first time in 8 years Queen Elizabeth II has cancelled her appearance for the annual memorial service, only having missed it 4 times in her reign in which the Queen was either pregnant or on a royal tour overseas.
Boris Johnson released a statement this week: “I have spoken to her majesty and she’s on very good form”, Boris continues to speak with the Queen every wednesday with an update.
Not everyone is convinced by the palace and PM statements, as there is continued speculation that the true state of the Queen’s health is being kept from the public.
According to Piers Morgan on Twitter this week: “There’s something we’re not being told about the Queen’s health, it’s clearly a more serious situation than the Palace is saying.”
